Job Summary
Welcome and comfort patients to prepare them for physical therapy, then assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and support their success. Follow the established plan of care, educate patients on safe equipment use, and assist with light exercises, strengthening techniques, and therapeutic modalities like ice packs and electrical stimulation. Help patients safely transfer between areas, ensure clear communication with physicians and staff, and maintain clean, sanitized treatment areas while observing and recording patient progress. Maintain a pleasant professional relationship with patients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be committed to Team's initiative of making DEI a priority - bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will be pursuing physical therapist or other health care degree
