Job Summary
Prepare therapy patients for sessions, assist with treatments as directed, and monitor patients for distress. Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to optimize therapy times, while transporting patients and managing equipment transfers. Handle clerical duties including registration, billing, scheduling, phone answering, and processing therapy orders. Monitor and clean therapy equipment to ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain stock of supplies and linens. Work M-F 8-5 at Avera Sacred Heart Pavilion, reporting to a therapist.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Less than 1 year patient care related experience
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
