Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercises, and positive outcomes. Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as ambulation, transfers, and activities of daily living. Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises under direction of professional staff; demonstrate correct activity form. Observe patient progress during treatment and communicate progress to the therapist.
