Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Tech supports daily clinic operations by assisting licensed PT/PTA with treatment preparation and instruction, and serves as primary receptionist handling scheduling, insurance verification, copay collection, and EMR documentation. Maintains a clean, organized clinic environment, manages supplies, and assists with billing data entry and patient check-out. Requires a high school diploma or GED and current First Aid/CPR certification; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic; must have a valid driver’s license for off-site meetings. This role is hourly, in-person at the San Antonio, TX site.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience using phones, fax, copier, and general office equipment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; EMR preferred)
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle fast-paced workflows
