Job Summary
Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for therapy services. Safely assist with patient transfers, positioning, and transportation while observing and reporting any changes in condition. Support the delivery of patient care under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant by performing exercises, transporting patients, and maintaining an organized environment. Assist with clerical duties, processing orders, and front desk coverage as needed. Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic life support certification (with 30 days to provide completion if not already held)
- ACLS/PALS/NRP certification
- Successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment
- Ability to provide positive and professional customer service
- Ability to follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace (subject to post offer, pre-employment drug testing)
