Job Summary
Physical Therapy Resident (PTR) is a physical therapist in a 12-month postgraduate training program who provides direct patient care, supervises rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students, and works across diverse patient cases. Responsibilities include implementing and refining treatment plans, documenting care and billing, conducting patient evaluations and discharge planning, educating observers and learners, and maintaining departmental productivity while coordinating follow-up after discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Physical Therapy
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support
- Must be enrolled in PT Doctorate program
