Physical Therapy Asst (PTA)

Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning. Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention. Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use. Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed.
