Physical Therapy Asst PRN

The PTA works under the Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate therapy activities, adjusting goals with the PT and patient/family, providing ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals as needed; documenting sessions; ensuring ethical, confidential care; and contributing to a collaborative care environment through patient-centered service, infection-prevention practices, and adherence to system policies. Requires an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy and PTA licensure with BLS certification; position is per diem/PRN in Atlanta, GA.
