Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates with the Physical Therapist to plan and implement treatment programs to restore or improve mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion in patients. Provides ongoing patient/family education, discharge instructions, and follows departmental protocols. Documents each treatment session, ensures adherence to ethical standards and infection prevention, participates in professional development, and supports a collaborative, customer-focused rehabilitation process.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Physical Therapy
- PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support
