Physical Therapy Asst PRN

Physical Therapy Assistant under the direction of the Physical Therapist implements the treatment plan to restore/improve mobility, strength, coordination and range of motion. Responsibilities include selecting and progressing activities, revising goals with the PT and patient/family, providing ongoing education and discharge/follow-up instructions, serving as a referral source for rehab services, thorough documentation of each session, and adherence to ethics, confidentiality, infection prevention, and system policies. Emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and professional development; requires completing mandatory education and maintaining licensure.
