Job Summary
Document assessments and interventions accurately and timely while treating patients of all ages with loss of extremity function, balance issues, pain, wounds, or burns. Follow the treatment plan designed by the physical therapist, report changes or findings directly, and educate patients and families to achieve maximum independence. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews while adhering to safety policies and national patient safety goals. Work with patients from infants to geriatric populations in a courteous manner, prioritizing patient and family needs. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of medical information in compliance with Methodist Hospitals' ethical business practices and federal, state, and local laws.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized college or university as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
- 1 Healthcare/Medical - Physical Therapy Required
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
