Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary
PTA will work under licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to homebound patients, conducting therapeutic exercises and implementing treatment plans. Duties include documenting patient progress, instructing patients on rehabilitation techniques, monitoring during therapy sessions, maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and assisting in discharge planning with continued-care instructions. Visits occur in homes, assisted living facilities (ALFs), and intermediate/long-term facilities (ILFs).
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- CPR certification
