Physical Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapy Assistant works under the Physical Therapist to plan and implement programs that restore or improve mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion for patients. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate treatment activities, revising goals with the team and patient/family, providing education and discharge instructions, documenting sessions per protocols, and coordinating with staff and resources to support rehabilitation. Ensures ethical practice, confidentiality, adherence to infection prevention, and participation in mandatory education and competencies. Requires high school diploma and associate-level education in physical therapy (PTA) with required licensure/certification; proficient in communication, customer service, teamwork, and basic computer skills; location: Atlanta, GA.
