Physical Therapy Assistant

Provides physical therapy treatment modalities in accord with the patient plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist. Delivers direct patient care in home health settings across Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Dutchess counties; instructs patients, families, and home health aides in the home exercise program and other aspects of patient care; documents patient progress and interventions in the EMR; contributes to patient care conferences and ensures completion of clinical documentation per agency policy. Requires NYS PTA license with current registration and a minimum of two years of direct clinical experience; home care experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and automobile in good working order are required; knowledge of HCHB Clinical Software and CEU maintenance is preferred. Tuition reimbursement available up to $15k per year as part of the benefits package.
