Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions while accurately documenting observations and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care to promote health, safety, and independent living. Partner with experienced home health Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care across Oahu locations.
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapist Assistant License required in the state of Hawaii
- Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Have two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Have a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam
Desired Qualifications
- Solid computer skills
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
