Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy treatments and provide exercise instruction, muscle re-education, and prosthetic training to improve patient well-being while adhering to the supervising PT's established plan of care. Observe and record patient responses to treatment, reporting condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and physician. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy activities within the scope of practice, ensuring safety during transfers and functional tasks. Coordinate care with the broader healthcare team and follow all state-specific home care laws. Available to work a weekend rotation with a current driver's license and vehicle access.
Required Qualifications
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
