Job Summary
Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve function, mobility, and relieve pain under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans while recording and monitoring residents' motor function, strength, and response to therapy. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation goals and ensure timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate updates and observations to the supervising PT and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during staff meetings. This in-house role at The Springs of Harrison supports new graduates in a compassionate, supportive environment focused on enhancing resident outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred
- Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
