Job Summary
Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to geriatric patients in homes throughout the Newark area, carrying out individualized plans established by supervising Physical Therapists. Collaborate remotely with licensed PTs regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations while helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, and safety. Complete accurate clinical documentation and manage your daily schedule and caseload with administrative support. This role offers full-time employment with flexible scheduling, no double-booking, and remote oversight, ideal for licensed PTAs seeking autonomy in home health.
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Jersey
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
- Ability to collaborate with remote supervising Physical Therapists
- Must be available for weekend shifts
