Conduct thorough patient evaluations using goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations. Implement interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques such as Graston and Dry Needling, and modalities to improve patient outcomes. Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies while documenting progress accurately in Epic Hyperspace. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care, and supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants on a one-to-one ratio. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and contribute to departmental innovation.
