Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant in Woodbridge, VA for a full-time daytime shift at Sentara Therapy Center Century. The PTA performs modalities and therapeutic interventions per standards of care and department policies, assists with updates to the plan of care, and provides patient and family education. Builds collaborative interactions with internal and external team members to improve patient outcomes, and manages patient flow with 12-15 patients per 8-hour day while maintaining efficient daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure/certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent
