Job Summary
Provide Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) services to seniors in living communities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include delivering treatments, performing tests, patient education, and appropriate interventions. Requires Maryland licensure/certification, or a two-year credential from an APTA-approved program (or equivalent experience with proficiency exam) and at least one year of PTA experience under supervision. Typical schedule Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Home health without the typical commute; duties include client care, preventive measures, and maintaining optimal physical well-being. Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed or certified in the state of Maryland
- Graduate of a two-year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or one year of PTA experience with proficiency exam
- At least one year’s work experience under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
