Job Summary
Provide post-operative orthopedic care to patients on a per diem basis, with a primary focus on Saturday coverage. Work under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Registered Physical Therapist to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore motor function while maintaining maximum physical and emotional performance. Deliver care in New Bedford and surrounding communities, requiring driving to the site three or more times per week. Maintain licensure with the Board of Registration in Medicine of Massachusetts, hold a current CPR certification, and demonstrate effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs
- Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- CPR certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Saturday availability
- Driving on average 3 or more times per week
