Job Summary
Conduct functional therapeutic activities to assist geriatric residents improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent physical disability within a skilled nursing facility. Evaluate and treat patients independently without direct supervision while promoting overall fitness and wellness. Assist the physical therapist with therapies designed to enhance resident experience. Requires NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant and passion for the geriatric population. Full-time position with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30 to $35.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant
- Must contain a license in the state of practice
- Be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision
- Possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience
