Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) providing care within inpatient rehabilitation; communicates patient progress to supervisor; assists with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records; documents patient care in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements; instructs patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs; maintains equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition; participates in team conferences and in-services; supports marketing presentations; adheres to the Code of Business Conduct and applicable state/federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program culminating in an associate's degree
- Current and valid state PTA license or equivalent in the states where services are rendered
- CPR certification (when required)
