Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist and measure & record resident's motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Treat residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage, and assist residents in carrying out specific exercises while observing and documenting on resident performance. Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential and comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Maintain a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team.
