Job Summary
Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist and measure & record resident's motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Treat residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage, and assist residents in carrying out specific exercises while observing and documenting on resident performance. Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential and comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Maintain a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team. This role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus, highly competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401k. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Currently licensed in New York
- Graduate from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
- Actively working toward obtaining licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting
- New graduates with relevant fieldwork experience
