Job Summary
Provide physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises under supervision of the staff Physical Therapist; assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitor residents' progress, educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety precautions, maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive resident care; demonstrates compassionate, patient-focused care and effective communication with residents, families, and staff. Sign-on bonus offered.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred
