Job Summary
PTA PRN position for weekends at Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital. Treats adults from 18 to geriatric with rehabilitation needs, assists in patient care, assesses medical condition and functional capabilities, and administers treatment programs under the direction of a Physician and Physical Therapist. Educates patients and families on physical therapy methods. Requires current state PTA licensure and BLS certification. Strong communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and detail-oriented skills; inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable
