Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to adult and geriatric patients in Franklin, Nash, and Vance counties, assisting clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Maintain current licensure or certification in North Carolina and complete at least one year of work experience under supervision. Perform home health visits on a per visit basis with full-time scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- current licensure or certification in the state of North Carolina
- graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
- at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
