Job Summary
Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions to adult and geriatric patients during home health visits in Montgomery County, assisting clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. Maintain current licensure or certification in Pennsylvania, hold a two-year college diploma from an APTA-approved program or one year of experience with a satisfactory Public Health Service proficiency exam, and demonstrate at least one year of supervised work experience. Complete other activities as requested while adhering to comprehensive infection prevention protocols and daily pre-screens. Base pay ranges from $42-52 per point depending on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in the state of PA
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (for initial qualification before December 31, 1977)
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
