Job Summary
Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for BAYADA Home Health Care performing home health visits for adult and geriatric patients; assists clients in attaining or maintaining physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist; requires NC licensure/certification and two-year degree or equivalent experience with proficiency exam; at least one year of experience under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification in North Carolina
- Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or one year experience with proficiency exam
- At least one year’s work experience under supervision of a Physical Therapist
