Job Summary
Assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapy services to residents, including treatment, program planning, implementation, documentation, and communication under physician orders. Integrate interactive and gamified tools into treatment plans while supporting patients with neuro conditions and cognitive decline. Contribute to the development and education of screening processes for the new tech-forward neurorehab program. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and utilize computer applications for job functions. Requires a current, valid PTA license, BLS certification, and one year of facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience
- Previous Facility experience
- Ability to project a professional image
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
