Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy treatment, provide exercise instruction, and deliver patient education aimed at improving well-being while following the supervising PT's established plan of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team on therapy within the scope of practice, ensuring adherence to state-specific laws governing home care. Perform tasks including active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and prosthetic assistance in various home situations. Work a weekend rotation with full-time hours, earning a total cash target pay of $58,241 to $87,361 based on hourly rates and per-visit productivity points.
Required Qualifications
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to complete CPR certification within 90 days of hire
