Job Summary
Perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and deliver patient education to improve well-being while following the established plan of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to supervising PT, nurse supervisors, and physicians. Coordinate care with the healthcare team and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within your scope. Adhere to state-specific laws governing home care physical therapy and make recommendations for plan-of-care adjustments. Available to work a weekend rotation. Requires current licensure to assist in physical therapy practice, a valid driver's license, and vehicle access. Compensation includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus, hourly rates, and per-visit point pay based on productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Available to work a weekend rotation
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to complete CPR certification within 90 days of hire
