Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Full Time - Acute Rehab

Assist the therapist in data collection, including appropriate tests and measurements for initial evaluation, and communicate status updates as directed. Implement the therapy plan of care for assigned patients by performing delegated therapy procedures and progressing techniques as patient status changes. Identify and report any changes in the patient's physical or mental status to the supervising therapist. Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical services and community resources, while providing patient education and developing home programs to facilitate safe discharge. Manage functional training classes, assign routine tasks to staff, and complete accurate medical record documentation and charge entry. Participate in the therapy assistant student program and actively pursue professional development through continuing education.
