Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Provide clinical services to residents under physician's orders and assist the Physical Therapist in performing procedures, tests, and complex treatments. Report patient progress, complications, and response to treatment to the Physical Therapist while maintaining accurate billing information daily. Maintain confidentiality of all patient, facility, and physician-related information and adhere to documentation requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary and family meetings to relay clinical findings, conduct staff training, and assume responsibility for professional growth through continuing education. Follow facility policies and supervise non-professional staff as appropriate.
