Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services to older adults (55+) under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist. The PTA implements components of participant interventions, collects data related to interventions, and makes modifications to progress or ensure safety and comfort. They will collaborate with the team to develop group and individual maintenance programs for participants and perform duties in accordance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- One year working with the frail or elder population is highly preferred
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant indirect supervision license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge
