Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Provide direct patient care and document treatments in accordance with the PT plan of care and physician's orders under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Follow ethics and standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association and state board requirements while communicating effectively with the therapist to ensure effective treatment. Produce specific clinical documentation, manage patient billing, and assist with scheduling and file management. Support clinical education of physical therapy assistant students. Work primarily during days with rotating weekends and holidays, earning between $25.50 and $38.00 per hour.
