Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and document treatments in accordance with the PT plan of care and physician's orders under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Follow ethics and standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association and state board requirements while communicating effectively with the therapist to ensure effective treatment. Produce specific clinical documentation, manage patient billing, and assist with scheduling and file management. Support clinical education of physical therapy assistant students. Work primarily during days with rotating weekends and holidays, earning between $25.50 and $38.00 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Associate's in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Less than 1 year related experience and/or training
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
