Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a skilled nursing facility focused on returning residents to optimal physical function and supporting patient-, physician-, and therapy-goal attainment. Responsibilities include instructing patients on maintaining function after discharge through independent exercise programs and appropriate activity modification, and collaborating with the therapy team to facilitate progress. Must hold an accredited PTA Associate’s degree, possess a current state license, and have basic computer/EHR skills. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs including service delivery software and electronic health records
