Physical Therapy Assistant PT Days Acute Care Therapies

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works under Physical Therapist supervision to plan and implement therapy programs that improve mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion for patients. Responsibilities include selecting and revising treatment activities, providing patient/family education, giving discharge instructions and referrals, documenting sessions, and serving as a resource to staff and physicians. Requires adherence to ethical standards, teamwork, confidentiality, and attendance, with emphasis on communication, customer service, and professional development in a hospital/acute care setting. Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant and BLS certification (including any instructor/provisional variants) are required. Location: Marietta, GA.
