Physical Therapy Assistant PT Days Acute Care Therapies

Implement the physical therapy treatment plan under the direction of the physical therapist to restore function in mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Select appropriate treatment activities to progress patients toward goals and revise plans in collaboration with the therapist and patient/family. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources while documenting each session according to departmental protocols. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and participate in staff meetings and mandatory education activities.
