Job Summary
Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve, maintain, or restore function for patients in acute care. Assists with evaluating treatment effectiveness, implements therapeutic interventions targeting posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, pain management, and activities of daily living; ensures alignment with current PT practices; documents patient care and coordinates discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team. Collaborates with the supervising Physical Therapist and healthcare team; maintains infection control and safety standards; delivers patient education and supports ongoing recovery opportunities. Weekend PRN role at Physicians Regional in Naples, FL, with potential pathways to full-time opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant licensed in state of employment
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- 0-1 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required
