Job Summary
Provides PTA-led rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physician and Physical Therapist to patients aged 18 and older, administering treatment programs and assessing functional capabilities and restrictions. Educates patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods while contributing to inpatient rehabilitation. Requires current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant and BLS certification (online certifications not acceptable). Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills are needed, with experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
