Physical Therapy Assistant, PRN

Provide physical therapy for all age groups under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Deliver physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan to enable patients to reach the highest level of physical independence. Conduct direct patient care utilizing modalities and techniques established in the plan of care, while maintaining and documenting active communication with the patient, Physical Therapist, and other appropriate persons concerning progress and home programs. Assist with measuring quality and outcomes, and demonstrate skills in performing patient care, conducting tests, and measurements as appropriate. This role is based at Eastside Medical Center and requires a current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Georgia or compact privileges, along with BLS certification.
