Job Summary
PTA opportunity in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) providing rehabilitation services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include mobility and gait training, transfers and strengthening exercises, implementing therapy treatment plans, monitoring progress and documenting outcomes, educating residents and families on home exercise programs, maintaining a safe therapy environment, and collaborating with nursing and therapy teams to support overall care plans. Per diem role based in Haines City, FL with Florida PTA license required or eligible. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA certification or license in the state of Florida
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with elderly or rehabilitating residents
- Ability to lift, support, and assist residents safely during mobility and therapeutic activities
