Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant provides patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist and Physician. Administers treatment programs tailored to patients aged 18+ to support rehabilitation goals, educates patients and families on physical therapy methods, and collaborates with the care team to monitor progress. Requires active state licensure as a PTA and BLS certification from AHA/ARC. Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is desired. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, organizational and time-management skills, and adherence to safety and documentation standards. Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
