Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Administer skilled PTA services in accordance with physician orders, respond to service requests, implement and modify care plans under PT supervision, measure motor function and muscle performance, monitor patient responses, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Attend required meetings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. New graduates welcome to apply; in-house rehab on a PRN/part-time basis with flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with regulatory agencies
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
