Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy interventions to relieve pain and improve or restore function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility/long-term care setting on a PRN basis. Administer treatments, measure motor function, document thoroughly, respond to service requests with referrals to the PT, modify plans of care under PT supervision, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient mobility and quality of life. New graduates are welcome to apply. Requires active Texas PTA license; in-person, part-time scheduling; strong communication and teamwork skills; experience with Net Health EHR is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
