Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to residents in a SNF/long-term care setting on a PRN/part-time basis. Administer PTA services, measure motor function and adjust plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; document thoroughly and timely per company policies and state/federal regulations; educate patients, families, and caregivers; participate in required meetings; and maintain licensure and compliance. Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Experience with physical therapy treatment practices
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
