Job Summary
Assist physical therapists during sessions by performing massage and stretching, setting up therapy equipment, and sanitizing treatment areas. Monitor patients, guide them through prescribed exercises, and document after-therapy care. Responsible for answering calls, scheduling appointments, following the supervising PT's instructions, and ensuring safe patient handling and equipment setup.
Required Qualifications
- Certification from a physical therapist assistant program
- Valid physical therapist assistant license
- A high school qualification or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients
- Computer literacy skills
