Job Summary
Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing while monitoring patient response to interventions. Provide skilled services under Physical Therapist supervision, implement and modify care plans, and relay referrals to the PT. Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance, ensuring documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab. Requires an active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license and experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Desired Qualifications
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
